Nani hero once again as Manchester United put pressure on Chelsea

Nani was once again the determining factor as well as the pain in the back of Chelsea scoring the soliditrary goal for Manchester United in a competitive game. Manchester United started brightly as did Sunderland with both teams having their fair share of chances. But on 28 minutes Darren Fletcher toe-poked the ball in the air to Nani at the far post who rounded Greg Gorden with an outside of the foot shot that landed in the bottom corner. After that Sunderland began to create chances and looked the most likely to score at half time. When the second half conjurned Both teams shared possetion of the ball. A major chance passed when Wayne Rrooney crossed the ball onto Berbatov who sliced the ball Half a yard from the goal, Gordon was scrambling to get to the ball but couldn't get there in time. Another chance passed as Rooney again comeing from the left side sliped in a pass to Giggs who was making a run, who crossed the ball and Berbatov had a free header only for Richardson to trail back and clear the ball just over the net. This was not going to be Berbatov's day or Sunderland's. with this win Manchester trail one point in the race for the title which could be the tightest ever
Chelsea see themselves a win over error-ridden Liverpool

Chelsea ran out 2-0 winners over Liverpool,with Drogba and Lampard on the score sheet. Gerard gifted Chelsea a goal early on his misplaced pass sending Didier Drogba through onto Pepe Reina, he then turned the keeper and slotted home. and Drogba does not miss many. Later in the second half Lampard finished Liverpool of with a slotted finish from a pass from Anelka in the Box. With this win Chelsea have signified there intentions to retain the title they have not lifted in three years.
